T-Ball

Pinto

League primarily for boys in the 1st and 2nd grades.
Base paths are 55 feet long.
Coaches pitch from 35 feet.
Batters get 5 strikes before they are out.
No walks. No leading or stealing.

Mustang

League primarily for boys in the 3rd and 4th grades.
Base paths are 60 feet long.
Players pitch from 44 feet.
Batter hits off Tee if he is walked with bases loaded.
No leading.
Stealing of 3rd base only.

Base paths are 70 feet long.

Stealing of all bases when the ball leaves the pitcher's hand.

Colt

League is for Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors(as of May 15, 2011)
Open to all players, no cuts.
League does not conflict with DHS summer leagues.
Players participating in high school baseball programs are eligible and welcome.
Games played on weekends only.
League begins 1st weekend of June and ends last weekend of July.
Home Games are played at Shepard 2 and Jewett 1
Come out and enjoy real baseball in real baseball weather

Volunteer Coaches
 

Palomino-

  • League is for players 18 years and older as of June 1, 2011.
  • Open to all players, no cuts.
  • Games played on weekends only.
  • Teams play in the Northern Lights League against teams from Northbrook, New Trier, Glenview, Lincolnwood and Niles.
  • League play begins the first week of June and runs through the last week of July.
  • Home games played at Jewett 1,  Shepard 2 and Clavey 1.
  • IHSA baseball rules—90’ bases, 60’6” pitching.
  • Volunteer(adult) coaches.
  • Come out and enjoy real baseball in real baseball weather.
